Why the girls?
Girls in rural communities face more problems than the girls in the city. It is completely different. When they are menstruating, they have to miss school and because they lack the necessary help as they
transition into womanhood, they are easily deceived and end up becoming mothers at a very young age.
They are very ignorant about their body, they believe in superstitions and have the wrong perceptions about womanhood because of the primitive cultures. The inadequate access to menstrual health care and sanitation, which is both physical needs and information, makes the girls victims of early marriages, manipulation, STDS and HIV.

What we do
Through the dignity girls program, the ministry aims at creating a relaxed environment every month for these girls to talk and learn about sexual health and rights. This helps to fill up the knowledge gaps and empower them to make positive decisions. Furthermore the ministry helps the girls get sanitary needs.
How we do it
Through the dignity girls program, the ministry aims at creating a relaxed environment every month for these girls to talk and learn about sexual health and rights. This helps to fill up the knowledge gaps and empower them to make positive decisions. Furthermore the ministry helps the girls get sanitary needs.
- We facilitate girls events: These are sessions of learning and asking questions.
- We provide the girls with re-usable sanitary pads and other significant feminine items.
